 | He
has just put on the Cannons, in this case the word Cannon refers to the
armor he is wearing on his arms now. What isn't obvious from this
view is that the upper arm guard is actually tied to Steaphen's Arming
Jacket. |
| Now
he adds his Breastplate. This Breastplate uses a single piece for
the front and a single piece for the back. It is belted around
his midsection andhanging below it are the Faulds and Tassetts.
The Faulds are the strips that cover the whole front below the
belt and the Tassetts aere the plate that hang down to protect each leg
by overlaping the Cuisses | |
 | Theshoulder
armor are called Pauldrons and you'll notice that this pair is not
symetrical. The reason they are not symetrical is that people
were trained normally to fight right handed and needed more mobility. |
| He
has now strapped on his sword belt and is almost ready to take to the
field. What you should be aware of is that the sword is
considered a side arm, it is not his weapon of choice whether on foot
or horse. | |
 | Now
he has put on his Gauntlets. The style of Gauntlers he wears are
refered to as Mitten Gauntlets. This is because the fingers are
not individually articulated but move with all of his fingers, just
like a pair of mittens. |
